Pieter Burghout & BRANZ
Pieter Burghout, Lifetime Design Council Member, has announced he is moving from the Registered Master Builders Federation (RMBF) to BRANZ. Pieter will take over the role as CEO of BRANZ at the beginning of September.
Pieter has been the CEO of the RMBF since 2006 and some of his greatest achievements have been raising the apprentice training numbers from 3000 to 10,000 and strengthening the profile of RMBF. 65% of people now recognise the RMBF brand and 80% of consumers would prefer a Registered Master Building if they has the choice.
Pieter’s immediate goal for BRANZ is to campaign for it to become a research leader for the building and construction sector and to ensure designers, builders and consumers are more aware of the great research outcomes of BRANZ.
The RMBF will continue to be a prominent supporter of Lifetime Design and we are looking forward to working with the new team leaders. Pieter will also still remain on our Council and continue to contribute this valuable knowledge to the Lifetime Design movement.
