Designing for a Lifetime
We live in a changing world, one where people are living longer, more independent lives. Isn’t it time that New Zealand home designs reflect the shifting needs and demands of our changing population?
Around the world people are altering the way they design their homes so that they work for everyone – regardless of age, stage or mobility.
Homes which are more universally usable, adaptable and inclusive are more marketable to a much wider audience. There is a greater focus by home buyers on usability and functionality, rather than just aesthetics. Purchasers are looking for homes which will last a lifetime, regardless of their changing circumstances.
